The Global Disinformation Policy Database (GDPD) is a comprehensive dataset of global policy responses to disinformation and misinformation. The GDPD is intended to enable researchers, policymakers, and technologists to better understand state responses to “information disorder”. The GDPD is developed and maintained by student researchers at the University of Texas. The project began as a research team in UT's Global Disinformation Lab.
The GDPD's mission is to advance the systematic study of information disorder governance by providing researchers, policymakers, and civil society with a comprehensive, standardized database of global policy responses, enabling evidence-based solutions to one of our era's most pressing challenges.
A searchable collection of laws, regulations, and policies addressing disinformation from countries worldwide.
